This warranty covers all internal parts of the engine.
What this limited warranty does not cover
- Any loss caused by overheating or misuse of the engine.
- Towing charges, freight or delivery charges.
- Loss caused by an engine that was improperly installed.
- The cost of labor required to remove, install or repair the engine.
- Loss caused by modifications, or use the engine was not meant for.
- Loss caused by a defective timing belt.
- Loss caused by forced induction (nitrous or turbo).
- Any engine used for competitive driving or racing.

JDM Engine Virginia is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial loss.
Please talk to your mechanic or research your vehicle before buying. We are not responsible if you order an engine or transmission that does not fit your car. Be certain before purchasing. You are responsible for any items ordered in error.
Warranty claim procedure
The customer is responsible for all freight charges. A replacement engine is sent once our staff have inspected and verified the returned defective engine. If the engine is found defective, JDM Engine Virginia will send a replacement or refund the purchase value of the motor.
The engine must be returned in the same condition it was sent. Any missing parts will be charged to the customer.
Emissions
Engines complete with accessories may not comply with the emission control laws of the state in which they are sold or used. State and federal authorities require that you transfer the emission devices from your old engine to the engine you are installing in order to comply.
Add-on parts left attached to the engine are for testing purposes and your convenience, free of charge. The purchase price represents the cost of the long block only, that is the cylinder head and short block.
